People often ask how my characters begin — the answer is always with watercolor and wonder. 🎨
Each story starts as a sketch in my studio, with brushes scattered and coffee nearby. Then come the colors, laughter, and heart that bring Pat, Steve, Monster Drool, and Laverne to life.
Super secret - there are a few people I know sprinkled into the characters. : )
